Hi to the Equinox!
Hi everyone - you may feel a slight bump as we cross the black line in the next few minutes - don’t worry!
By the way, to show it truly to scale you’d need to have the Earth the size of an apple and the sun the size and distance away of your local fire station, oh and the moon a ping pong ball that keeps bumping into the walls even if you stand right in the middle of your room… , and a picture of that would only show the fire station and empty space…
The light today loses it’s advantage over the dark, so hi to the dark..
This disconnect underpins a hell of a lot of what is going wrong, in my view. We need to reconnect.
Clouties near Madron Well in Penwith, West Cornwall - a chapel was built as the usual attempt to Christianise sacred spaces like this, but the chapel is now derelict and absorbed, and the well/spring is still there….
The amazing Men-An-Tol in Penwith, West Cornwall (summer 2011) - would be a good place to get spliced… Can’t go to Cornwall without visiting it.
It’s quite easy to get to along tracks, but the first time I went we walked cross country from the East, getting lost a couple of times and encountering an adder - then finally came upon this amazing clearing…
Lia Fáil Vandalised

over at the Tairis blog. There are no words fit enough to express the level of stupidity and defilement. As far as I am concerned they have chipped out their own death mark(s).
I am so full of anger at this at the moment. And you are right nefaria, there are no words to properly fit this or the level of outrage I am feeling at such a disrespect at a historical landmark. щ(ಠ益ಠщ)
Last year a bunch of crows(Christian d-bags) vandalised an Athenian temple and assaulted the old priest watching over it. They spray painted swastikas and various antisemitic remarks on things, knocked over statuary and spray painted general anti-Pagan sentiment, as well as death threats. It wasn’t the first attack either and not likely to be the last.
Well, Wyrd goes ever as she shall. We’ll see how kindly she takes to such disregard for history.
There is just too much hate in the world, and this clearly is showing hate from the sad person/people who did it. The stone is permanently damaged, and yet will heal with its new scars.
The Rollright Stones, near Oxford, England, February 2012.
Amazing place.
