This is a joke, isn’t it? - because these groups of people, which is nearly all of us in total, exactly do need to challenge their mindsets and move towards equality… Do PoC need to declare they are anti-racist? Hey, perhaps you were criticising people who just say it without shifting their brains.
- Men should never say they’re anti-sexists
- White people should never say they’re anti-racists
- Cis people should never say they’re anti-cissexist
- etc
Because while you can actively fight against systems, you still benefit from those -isms in a way that will forever stain your experience and world view.
